Our Services

All routes operate Monday through Friday except holidays. No service holidays include: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve. Holidays falling on weekends are observed on the nearest weekday.

Regularly scheduled stops are listed on individual route time tables. Transfers between any of Calaveras Transits’ routes are free. Transfers are valid for one way travel and must be redeemed on next available bus (no layovers). Transfers to and from Amador Regional Transit and Tuolumne County Transit require regular fare.

Route Deviations:

For pick up/drop off locations between regularly scheduled stops, just ask your bus driver or customer service representative. If you are elderly (55+) or disabled you may also request deviations up to 3/4 mile from the route at no extra charge. Number of deviations may be limited in order to maintain schedule, so please call at least one hour in advance. Deviation requests are accepted up to one week in advance. Be ready five minutes early and call ahead to cancel if necessary.

Regional Services:

Regional connections are available to Tuolumne County (Columbia College) and Amador County (Jackson).

Event Services:

Due to recent federal legislation governing public transit operators, Calaveras Transit will no longer provide charter services for public events. A list of local private charter providers is included below for your convenience:
