Calaveras Transit will not be offering service on Monday, May 26, 2008, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

** NOTICE ** Public Hearings for Unmet Transit Needs will be held on Wednesday April 2, 2008 and Tuesday April 15, 1008! The Calaveras County Council of Governments will be taking requests for public transportation improvements . Please join us at the CCOG meeting on April 2nd at the Government Center in San Andreas at 6:30pm, or at the Angels Camp City Council meeting on April 15th at the Angels Camp Fire Station (Highway 4) at 6:00pm. We will be taking comments and requests at that time for Unmet Transit Needs. Or, if you are not available to attend either meeting, please visit the CCOG website at www.calacog.org to fill out a Unmet Transit Needs form.

** NOTICE ** The Calaveras Transit Winter Bear Valley Route is in full swing! For only $10 we can take you to the slopes. We will be operating through the week of Christmas and during every weekend this ski season. Please call in to reserve your seat today! Calaveras Transit increased fares effective November 5th. Calaveras Transit increased the regular route fare to $1.50 from $1 and the Lodi route fare to $3 from $2. For more information about the new fare schedule please click on the Fares link or call customer assistance at 754-4450.

General Information

Calaveras Transit offers public transportation services Monday thru Friday with the exception of observed federal holidays. Our regional service connects all Calaveras County communities with out-of-county destinations such as Jackson, Sonora, and Lodi. We also provide weekend services to Bear Valley during the snow season. Please click on the information links to the left for further information.
