Calaveras Transit - Come ride with us!

Here at Calaveras Transit we hope to promote better transportation practices. We urge our community to help conserve the earth's natural resources by carpooling or riding mass transit whenever possible.

Butte Fire Information

All transit service has been restored.  As of Monday, September 21st, buses have resumed the regular service to Mountain Ranch, Rail Road Flat, and West Point.  Call customer service at 754-4450 for trip planning assistance.

Calaveras Transit offers public transportation services Monday thru Friday with the exception of observed federal holidays. Our regional service connects all Calaveras County communities with out-of-county destinations such as Jackson and Sonora. Please click on the information links to the left for further information.

Calaveras Transit Route Cancellations
Due to the Butte Fire, the Calaveras Transit runs to West Point and the 8:20 run to Jackson have been cancelled.

Route Deviations

Calaveras Transit provides route deviations (up to ¾ mile from the regular fixed route) and discounted fares for elderly (65+) and eligible disabled passengers. Please click here for an application.
